
Grab a putter and scorecard from the Putt Shack and (putt) put your skills to the test on a nine-hole, indoor minigolf course. Along the way, explore the history of the popular pastime and learn about the ways it has evolved in the United States.
- Play through three zones—Vintage, Retro, and Modern—showcasing the different eras of minigolf. Look for the QR code on your scorecard to learn how to enter a Playful Putters giveaway!
- Explore golf-related artifacts from the museum’s collection, such as Arnold Palmer’s Indoor Golf Course, and the games Gator Golf and Tee Party.
- Enjoy postcards, photographs, and other printed materials throughout the exhibit that show people playing miniature golf from the early part of the 20th century into the 2000s, including a postcard showcasing Roseland Park on Canandaigua Lake in 1940.

Playful Putters is included with general admission. The exhibit remains on view through September 1, 2025.
